Chicken sponsorships
laying hen hybrid (brown)
The hybrid hens are a specially bred species that is used primarily in egg production. These chickens lay a particularly large number of eggs, but unfortunately they pay a high price for this - they often die at a young age. In the industry, they are slaughtered every year as soon as their egg-laying performance declines. Their further fate is sad: many of them end up as biomass for biogas plants or are simply disposed of as waste.

Brahma
The Brahma chickens are one of the largest chicken breeds in the world and impress with their majestic appearance. The roosters in particular reach a considerable size and make quite an impression in the chicken coop. This breed is known for its calm and gentle nature. The roosters in particular are peaceful and get along well in groups, which makes them pleasant roommates in the coop. Despite their size, Brahmas have a lovable, almost cuddly nature.

Barnevelder
The large Barnevelder is an endangered breed of chicken, of which there are unfortunately only a few roosters left. These chickens are particularly valued for their magnificent coloring - their feathers shimmer in a beautiful greenish-brown tone. Despite their beauty and calm nature, they are fighting for survival, and it is becoming increasingly important to preserve this rare breed so that it does not disappear completely from chicken farms.

hamburger
The Hamburg chickens are similar to the Appenzeller Spitzhauben, both in their elegant appearance and in their lively nature. They are characterized by their elongated bodies and their remarkable ability to fly, which makes them particularly attractive to chicken lovers. With their agile nature, they are quick on the move and feel best in a spacious, open environment. These characteristics make them an exceptional breed that is not only beautiful to look at, but also extremely robust and active.

Marans
The Marans chickens are a French breed that is particularly prized for their exceptional chocolate brown eggs. These eggs are immediately eye-catching with their dark coloring and make the Marans something very special in the chicken coop. In addition to their unique eggs, the Marans are also known for their hardiness and calm nature, making them a popular choice for many chicken keepers.

Appenzeller Spitzhauben
The Appenzeller Spitzhaube is a formerly endangered Swiss chicken breed that is now becoming popular again. These chickens are agile and always on the move, but rather shy and always on guard. Their characteristic crest is particularly striking and makes them unmistakable. Thanks to their unique appearance and robust nature, they are one of the "Pro Specie Rara", i.e. rare and protected livestock breeds.

Chabo
In contrast to the stately Brahmas, the Chabo chickens are one of the smallest breeds of chicken. These small but fine chickens are real gems in the coop and enchant with their many different colors. Despite their small size, they are full of charm and are often a feast for the eyes, whether they are scratching around in the enclosure or sitting comfortably in the coop. Their cute appearance makes them particularly popular with chicken lovers.

silkie chicken
Silkies are particularly popular with garden lovers because, compared to other breeds of chicken, they cause very little damage to the garden. They scratch much less, which is good for the plants. With their soft, silky plumage and calm nature, they are not only beautiful to look at, but also perfect companions for a well-kept garden. These gentle chickens fit perfectly into a hobby garden without digging everything up.

flower hen
Flower hens are a very popular breed that is particularly impressive due to their diverse coloring. Each chicken of this breed is unique - no two are alike, which gives them their special charm. With their colorful and unique plumage, they bring color to every chicken farm and delight not only the eye, but also the heart of every chicken lover. This variety makes the flower hens true jewels among the breeds.

Araucana
Araucana chickens are particularly known for their blue eggs, which make them very special. However, this breed can lay more than just blue eggs - there are also a number of other shades that can vary from green to turquoise. The fascinating range of egg colors and the striking appearance of the Araucanas make them a sought-after breed for chicken lovers and egg enthusiasts alike.
