Seven Runner ducks and Pomeranian ducks live on our animal sanctuary. The Runner ducks do an excellent job of controlling snails and keeping the garden naturally free of pests. The Pomeranian ducks, on the other hand, belong to the rare "Pro Specie Rara" breed and are therefore particularly worthy of protection. Both breeds of duck contribute in their own way to the diversity and well-being of our farm.

Our turkeys are particularly calm and loving animals. Both roosters are new to our farm, but they quickly settled in and live in harmony with our group of chickens. Compared to other animals, they are extremely calm and bring a peaceful atmosphere to the barn.

The turkey hens are more reserved than the roosters, but they have their own urge to explore. They like to fly out of the fenced enclosure and make little excursions into the surrounding region. But in the evening they are all back in the stable and enjoy the peace and quiet after their adventures.
