Roosters

Adabayore is our honorable rooster. As one of the first roosters on our estate, he has earned his place as protector and leader. He still looks after his flock of chickens lovingly and attentively, always watchful and caring.

Xavien Kam was one of the first roosters to come to us. He comes from a school class and was given to us as a small chick. Today he has developed into a respected member of our flock and is now second in the hierarchy.

T-Rex originally came from a breeding farm and was intended for the market as a chicken. But now he lives a peaceful life in our garden. Here he has the freedom to move around as he pleases and to enjoy his retirement in peace.

​Göggi comes from Bern and could no longer stay in his original home. He quickly settled in with us and gets on very well with the other newcomer, Langhals. The two are inseparable and spend their days together, which creates a harmonious atmosphere on our farm.

Romeo came to us as a chick and has grown into a magnificent, fluffy rooster. With his stately appearance and charming nature, he attracts everyone's attention and enriches our farm in a wonderful way.

This rooster is unnamed yet, and his brother, who is also unnamed, lives in the enclosure with him. Both brothers still have names that will reflect their personalities, and we look forward to giving them appropriate names soon.

This Appenzeller Spitzhauben rooster is still awaiting his christening and does not yet have a name. Despite the lively nature of his breed, he is particularly calm and relaxed, which makes him a pleasant companion in the enclosure. We look forward to giving him a name soon that reflects his unique calmness and character.

​Tom, our magnificent Marans rooster, is one of the largest roosters on our estate and the proud leader of our second group of hens. Despite his imposing size, Tom is a gentle and trusting companion who enjoys being petted and pampered.

Romolus is the brother of Xavien Kam and proudly takes on the role of alpha rooster on our farm. He ensures that order prevails and maintains the hierarchy with his imposing presence.

AJ, Adabayore Junior, is the son of Adabayore. Even though he is still young and low in the hierarchy, he already shows great commitment and takes loving care of the chickens.

Langhals could no longer stay in his previous home and therefore came to live with us. He now lives with Göggi on our farm and the two get on very well. Together they explore their new habitat and ensure a friendly and balanced atmosphere.

​This rooster doesn't have a name yet, but he carries the legacy of his late father, Jerry. Jerry was known for his incredibly cuddly nature, and it seems his son has inherited those endearing traits. We look forward to giving him a fitting name that reflects his charm and special personality.
